The caribbean rhythms are back, the sea of colors is taking over the streets of Oranjestad and San Nicolas, and you cannot have missed the fever rising, the Aruba Carnival Fever that is!
As soon as January 3rd 2011 passed by the holiday spirit metamorphoses into the Aruba bacchanal, and no matter where you go, you are bound to hear the good old rhytms of our steelbands, calypso, road march and tumba on the streets if you are on vacation in Aruba during January, February and March 2011.
When we think of reasons for visiting Aruba for Christmas, the first thing that generally comes to mind is the fact that 30°C sounds much better than -03°C (the current temperature here in Copenhagen). When one thinks of Caribbean destinations this is the number one reason for a Christmas get away. Nevertheless, as I sit here in the November cold, counting the days for my trip back home to Aruba, I want to share with you the reasons why you must experience Christmas in Aruba at least once
